I can't believe I fell asleep last night before the post. Yesterday was a very slow day because weekends mean no PT. We did take many naps, and only took a couple of trips in the chair. Our friend Bobbye did come and give Dave a wonderful haircut, which made him feel better. His hand and fingers started to swell a couple of days ago and today they are still swollen. Until the OT can talk to doctor on Monday he cannot have therapy. This swelling started when they removed the last wound vac and changed the dressing. We do not know if it is because of the removal of the vac or if maybe the way the dressing was put back on is somehow irritating the pins in his hand. I really need someone to tell me what is going on. The good thing is he is not running a fever, but he really doesn't feel well either. Our wonderful friends John and Lucy will be bringing us steaks tonight for dinner! That should make him feel better....
