We spent our first night at home. I thought we had been sleeping, but now I know what we have been missing. The drive home was hard on Dave, but he kept saying he was fine. We arrived home pretty early, and we found out we have alot of learning to do. First he sat in his favorite chair and then we almost didn't make it out of it. Next he twisted around to quick while trying to move from one spot to the other, and he almost fell. Finally, I have to learn to get all my ducks in a row before attempting to change his bandage. At least it is all things we can learn, and if we find something we can't figure out how to do then we just call our friends at BSA hospital rehab. Our wonderful friends have provided enough dinner for us to last us all week. Life is good!
Dave just told me he wants to tell you again how much your prayers and concerns have made him realize how fortunate he is to have such great friends and family. His emotions have been a little more than usual, which is completely understandable. I think we just all know how blessed we are.
Love to all!
